Anchor & Pot Hauling

The days are long gone thankfully when it took a team of 20 sailors to raise the anchor using ropes, winches, and rope drums. Nowadays technology for boat owners has moved on and we at James Nilsson are proud to be part of the process that makes sailing easier and safer.

The anchor and pot hauler capstans we make are New Zealand manufactured for boats up to 7, 11 or 14 meters long. 

● They feature a low battery drain and auto brake to hold safely. 
● They are designed to fit on any deck and are easy to install or be removed in minutes.
● We have high­speed anchor and pot hauling capstans for rapid, safe recovery.
● They are fitted with high­quality European motors to enable the fast recovery of your anchor, ensuring you get all the power you need to make anchoring easy.
● All our winches are covered by a 3 year RTF warranty against defective materials or workmanship unless otherwise stated.
