SH300

Self Holding Feature:
This winch is designed for the safe and controlled raising and lowering of loads. There in no free fall facility and the winch will not run away under load. The load can be positioned and held at intermediate points with no risk of sudden drop.

  • Centreboards
  • Davits
  • Heavy Screens and Curtains
  • Chandeliers
  • Light industrial duties

Not suitable for shock loads.

Rating:
300kg (660lbs) maximum intermittent. Manual single operator input.

Safety:
This winch is not rated for applications involving the lifting of people. It should not be used for lifting overhead loads without an approved back up system.

Direction of Load:
The winch is designed so that the load can only be applied in one direction. If viewed on the spool side of the winch, the load direction is counter clockwise or left hand. Modification to load in the opposite direction is not permitted.

Bolt Down:
Use all three bolt points provided on either of the two faces.

Wire or Rope:
The winch will accept up to 5mm (3/16") wire or 6mm (1/4") rope. Rope is passed through the hole in the spool and knotted or fitted with a collar.

Minimum Wrap:
The winch must at all times have not less than 5 full turns of rope on the spool to create sufficient grip.

Maintenance:
Apply one shot of grease to nipple every 3 months. Spray with corrosion inhibitor / penetrating oil from time to time. Keep clean and store handle in a dry place.

Warranty:
If a warranty fault is suspected during the period of 3 years from the time of sale to the original user, no parts should be removed or any repairs attempted. The product shall be returned to James Nilsson Ltd, freight paid, with a detailed description of the problem experienced, details of installation and satisfactory evidence of purchase.
